Maria made a decision
for faith...
A timid step
into the waiting arms
of a patient God.
A year of dialogue with Vera...
six weeks in our home group's Alpha course...
a simple Sunday invitation to join God's story...
And a threshhold has been crossed.
A barrier transcended.
A genesis initiated.

So we celebrate.
Smiles and applause,
left-right-left kisses,
a heartfelt "gefeliciteerd."
And our celebration pales
in comparison to that of celestial joy.
